Starry-Eyed Knives Chau as portrayed by Ellen Wong. Such a subtle little effect but it completely blew my mind when I first saw it. Not enough is said about Wong’s performance in this flick. Can’t wait to see what’s next from her.

Last month at the SDAFF, Ellen talked about traveling to Asia to train for a month in martial arts. Now we know why!
Canadian actress Ellen Wong (SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD) has been cast in the martial arts action film FORMLESS alongside Marrese Crump. Wong, who has a background in taekwondo, has also been training with Crump and martial artist Oscar Lugo in multiple styles and disciplines such as Filipino Kali, Muay Thai, Pentjak Silat and Capoeira among others.
